Joanna and Chris's wedding at Beazell Memorial Forest was full sweet moments. Like when a ladybug landed lightly in Joanna's hair as she read her vows. There were butterflies floating all around the guests and the arbor during the ceremony. Which was absolutely fitting when Joanna surprised her father with her song choice for their Father/Daughter dance; "Butterfly kisses" of course. He just about lost it, right then and there. We all did. And then there were the funny moments too. Like when Joanna tossed her bouquet and it landed firmly in a low hanging tree branch, out of the reach of any of the excited single ladies. And the effort by her father to retrieve it using beanbags from the corn hole game was equally hilarious.  

But I'm especially sentimental towards these two because they're like a mini version of my husband and I. They work with Youth with a Mission on their High Ropes Challenge Course, which is where my husband and I worked while we were engaged and got married. It's an incredible ministry that requires a lot from the volunteers that serve it.  It was an honor to serve them in this time and I am so glad to have met them. Here are a few of my favorites from their lovely day. 

After their formal exit, Chris and Joanna followed me on a quick little quest to find a big open field to grab a few more portraits of just the two of them. I'm so glad they were willing to spend this time with me, these are some of my favorites.
